Day 2 of the power outage caused by Friday night/Saturday morning's storms.  Calls to the power company say that it may be restored sometime Monday or possibly Tuesday.  I've lost count the number of times I've absentmindedly turned on a light switch or tried to listen to MPR.  Sigh.  Going to sleep once the sun goes down is quite difficult, too ( Read more... )

Sweet!  I've been waiting for this for more than five years, ever since reading about the legal problems obstructing it.  The "Director's Cut" version of Blade Runner was never Ridley Scott's intended version, but was instead slapped together with a few partially added scenes and the cut hokey ending of the US theatrical version.  Many parts of it ( Read more... )
